A lot of really good reflection on what it means really to know ancient Greek. I especially liked this entry:

I took the quiz, and as I posted there scored around 90%. Whew! For some reason I couldn't think of the word for nose, though I immediately recognized it when I saw it.
The other odd thing when I was "taking" the quiz -- for most of the words, the first thing that popped in my head was the Latin, not the Greek. Scary.
