Heart for Nature, Peace and Perfection.

GEOMETRY
HARMONY
BALANCED,
BEAUTIFUL.

Sometimes Nature shows me that life is meant to be perfect.
And sometimes it is like that for a moment: balanced, harmonious and beautiful.

Coming home this afternoon, at dusk, with my shopping-bag walking through the garden I noticed the Evening Primrose’s new flowers.
When I’m done putting away the groceries, it is quiet in the house, it is quiet outside, the door is open, the work done, suddenly there is this nice smell coming in, full of moist and garden-freshness after the rain, inviting me to go outside. I take my tea, and go for a nice garden-walk.

Than all by myself, with my cup of tea, walking around, relaxing, after a while I am beginning to feel something is changing, the silence is shifting into quietude, into a peaceful, serene, harmonious, quietude.
And suddenly I realise: This is harmony. Me, the tea, the garden, the flowers, Nature. Us together in this peace, in this place, with all disturbances gone, disappeared. This is harmony. There is nothing from within myself, and there is nothing from the environment, outside myself, disturbing it.

With that great feeling I walked around the garden, and suddenly I noticed that one Evening Primrose, was sticking up high above the other flowers in the garden.
She was so perfect, balanced and harmonious in shape, size, and in the way her petals were opened, that I had to take her picture:

And I was thinking at that moment that Evening Primrose was telling me this exactly. She was showing me, and I was feeling it: Life is meant to be like this. Harmonious, balanced, peaceful, and perfect.

I realised, at this moment of peace and harmony we shared together, that it was a gift especially for me. So I will remember that, and I will never forget that.
And that all the working with my photos and art, and writing about how beautiful Nature is, is about this. That we will not forget that, and that we will remember that, in our hearts. Remember, although it may be hidden deep inside of us, that life, and we, are meant to be perfect.

And suddenly I saw that in keeping on searching for happiness and peace, what we all do, we are actually searching for something larger than that one moment, that one goal. And we keep on searching, until we find something we can be truly happy with, and love, like I have found that in Nature, my garden, and art.

Also I realised that when ‘happiness’ can come to us for a moment, it can also come to us for more moments, for lots of moments, or even to come to stay forever.
And that, deep inside ourselves, we really are meant to be truly, perfectly, happy, always, one day. Living our lives in harmony with ourselves, with others, with Nature.

It seems too grand a thing, or too farfetched a concept. But hat we really are meant to be perfect, through my garden and the flowers, I am beginning to believe in it.
And I realised that I will keep on searching for these moments of happiness, and I will be finding them more and more, until I can really hold on to them.

I also saw that the direction and goal of my life is really about this. In relationships, home, garden, work, in everything.
Close to Evening Primrose this evening I am beginning to believe in it, and I promised myself to have faith in this, and embrace it as a concept for my life.

Zo kan het ook. Prachtig.Ontroerend weerzien met oud landschap, door een mooi initiatief.
