A morning bout of dog innards!

The other day was my first day of volunteering at the Humane Society! I really, REALLY thought it was just going to be a fabulous morning of rolling around with puppies and kittens, brushing them, petting them, walking them...but NO! I was needed in the surgery prep room instead, holding dogs' legs open for shaving, watching a limp labrador pee all over the table, and having not one, but TWO dog uteruses thrust at me!! "Are you squimish around blood?" asked the doctor. "YES!!!" I said! "Have you seen a DOG'S UTERUS before?" and then holds some entrails out in front of me! And then it happened again later!!! I don't think they want me to come back or something, they are trying to scare me away!!!
