Beeks' Place! Beeks' Place!

Party Time! Excellent!

I'm scared to sleep in my room!

, ,

I was getting ready to hem a pair of pants today, so I was reaching down to the floor of my room to pick up my sewing box when GGAAAAHHHH! THAT little stinker was hiding under my box, just...just waiting to spring out and bite me! I thought it to be the spawn of Gohma, seeing that just minutes before I had battled that boss in Zelda. But anyway! My concern of spiders in my basement room is growing because the other day I found a smaller one IN MY SHEETS. I think it was dead!---but GUH! *shudders violently*. This makes my need to move out even more pressing!!

:frown: I hate spiders and that's a nasty.

I don't think I can look at it anymore - how big was it?

By seaempty, # 5. March 2007, 07:12:04

It was JUMBO. I would say the diameter of a 50 cent piece, or...maybe a golf ball. It sure SEEMED big to me! But not as big as that OTHER spider I have in my photo album! But these spiders are bad. If they bite you your arm falls off or something. :ko:

Tell me that thing is dead... Looks almost the same size as the one I caught in bath, reading my newspaper, smoking my cigars...

Oh yeah, I totally smited it with my running shoes!!

I'd have to say the worst thing though, is opening up your shower curtain to find a HUGE spider crawling out of the drain!! >_<

i hate most bugs, like 99% of them. spiders though, i feel like i have a truce with them. they have never bothered me like moths or other flying bugs do, and they havn't completely taken over the house. just one every once in a while. So I never kill them, and most of the time I just let them do what they were doing where they were doing it. If i find one on my bed though, i try to catch it and put it somwhere else, i don't want to get bitten at night out of a misunderstanding, or accidentaly eat one cause he crawled in. (you DID know that the average person eats around 5 to 7 bugs a year at night right?)

spiders is cool wit me homes.

I feel like I have probably met my spider-eating quota after finding that one in my sheets! Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night, my mouth is always gaping open, so it would be very easy for one to explore the cave that is my mouth. As for me and spiders--I just hate the brown ones! They do nothing but hide in my drains and anywhere else that's dark. And they're so poisonous that I don't want to risk picking them up and transferring them somewhere else. I just hate them!

But the little crab spiders that scuttle around, they're alright.

Don't harm those spiders, they're beautiful like jazz music, it's just that not many have learned to appreciate them.

By Säm, # 8. March 2007, 03:40:22

But why do they have to pop up in unexpected places??

By Beeks, # 8. March 2007, 05:03:26

OH MUTHER DAMN!! SHOOT IT SHOOT IT!!

they scare the willies outta me!

when in my teens I was gonna bathe & I had to pass through a small corridor to get to the bathroom with a mirror on one side. Naturally you look up to see yourself in the mirror in passing. & BAM!! One Big Brown Hairy Spider On the Mirror!! :insane: I almost knock myself out on the wall behind me trying to step away from it. - thing is... now I was Trapped! in the bathroom!!! & I could Not hit it with my slipper cuase I'd break the glass!! :bomb::bomb: - ...so I got up the nerve & SLOWLY (& I mean slowly:eyes:) edged against the wall opposite, until outside :faint: ...can't even remember now who killed that eight legged bastard but good riddance

Another time (about 1 year ago) I was driving down to Mayaro ..& I see this thing walking across the road. (yeah – no kidding – I was DRIVING & I see something about 25 feet in front of me crossing) – I was like: “is that an opossum? :eyes: ..rabbit? Cow?:insane:” …as I get closer I see it’s a spider.. you should have seen it :faint: Classic Tarantula! It looked like this. Or very similar.

I’m braver now so I got out of the car & watched it cross the road :eyes:

I still wonder why God made those things in the first place  ..& conversely, why am I so afraid of em’?

Give them a name and they'll become less scary.

Johnny
Mike
Peter
etc

friendly names...

Don't call them:

Dr. Evil
Mr. Mean.
Ugly Joe
etc

It is very small if I compare it with a spider appearing in The Biohazard(A horror game).
