Name: Ben Anderson
Current Location: School
Status: Tired as hell!
Man, school is wearing me out! All this learning, which is good, it's just...tiring! I am not lazy...well, not really lazy, but I can only fit so much stuff into my head before it looks at me and says,
and blows up. I love school and I love learning new stuff. Right now I am learning C#; a programming language for all of you who go out on Saturday nights; and also a little HTML on the side. Gonna be a big, bad web designer...or something of that nature....someday. As soon as I finish these classes. I already got my Microsoft Certification for SQL Server 2000. Now all I have to do is finish 4 more classes: a couple of C# classes, a server class and something else I cannot bring into my head at the moment. But after all those, I will be a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, or MCSD for short. Well, for a computer nerd...such as myself...that is really neat and interesting. I love programming. I know there are some people out there thinking,Screw you
And there are probably even more people out there thinking,What mental institution did you just escape from?
And yes I probably do belong in an institution and yes I am a firm believer of underwear inside the pants. But I do like programming. Yes it can be frustrating and yes I want to throw my computer out the window and laugh maniacally after an entire program I just wrote was brought to it's knees by a bracket. But, I like it. Problem solving to the max, I say! Well, I am done boring you all to tears and now I must continue my trek into madness. Filling my brain to overflowing with information on brackets and methods and forms and THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY HA HA!!Why don't we wear our underwear outside our pants....dude...what is programming?

Sorry, to anyone who regularly reads my blog, for not posting lately. I have been working on my new website every spare chance I get. I am working on a video game web-comic and have been looking for artists as of late. Anyone who likes to draw and would like to help me draw my web-comic, since I have no drawing talent to speak of, please let me know. All styles welcome, color or ink drawing. This comic started out as a simple text based blog series with pictures added in from video games and the like. The comic is called FVGN (Fake Video Game News), which is just like it sounds...a news program reporting on video game situations as if they were real. If that doesn't make much sense, check out these links to some of the original blog posts. And if you are interested, please send me a message. The work would be completely voluntary, since I am broke and can't afford to pay anything. But you could get your work out there and get seen, and who knows where this thing will end up? Talk to you all soon.
Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
Check these out...I think they are pretty funny. And I can use all the help I can get to turn these blogs into a full-fledged web-comic!

Name: River Tam
Age: 17
Bio:
River Tam and her brother Simon live on a Firefly-class spaceship named Serenity approximately 500 years in the future, when the series and film are set. River was considered a child prodigy when it came to almost everything, smart beyond her years (she was correcting her brother's spelling when she was three years old). Her gifts were not merely intellectual; she is also a talented and graceful dancer.

When River was about 14, she was sent to a government learning facility known only as "The Academy". While her parents and Simon believed the Academy was a private school meant to nurture the gifts of the most talented children in the Alliance (the uniting governmental force over all inhabited galactic planets), it was in fact a cover for a government experiment in creating the perfect assassin. While in the clutches of the Alliance doctors and scientists, River was tortured and experimented upon secretly and extensively, and made the victim of cruel surgeries and psychological abuses.
The Alliance attempted to isolate River from her family, but she managed to send a call for help by putting a coded message in a letter to her family. Simon decoded the message, and set out to rescue his sister, despite his parents' insistence that he was simply being paranoid. Simon exhausted his own personal fortune and sacrificed a promising career in medicine, but eventually located River with the help of anti-governmental groups.
Rescued by her brother and put temporarily in cryo suspended animation, the two became wanted fugitives, were disowned by their parents and hunted by both Alliance forces and bounty hunters, who have been enticed by a large bounty. Simon, a talented doctor, treats her regularly, trying to find medicines that help the now-mostly psychotic River. He discovered through an advanced form of medical imaging that part of her brain, the amygdala, which acts as a filter for emotions, had been stripped. This prevents River from being able to control her emotions, even if she wants to. As Simon describes it,
She feels everything; she can't not.
River displays near-telepathic perception: she "sees" and foretells the future. The full extent of her psychic/intellectual powers are currently unknown, as are the intentions of the shadowy organization who experimented on her, or even the true relationship that organization has to the Alliance. River has demonstrated superior skills in fighting and weapon-handling in several circumstances.
In conclusion, River Tam is the second most mysterious character of Firefly. The first being, of course, Shepherd Book.
I was planning on making a whole series on this subject, doing one character per blog, but if everyone thinks this is boring, I won't. So, please give me you opinion. I want to make a blog that people will actually read. Let me know! Send me an e-mail or post a reply to any of my blogs. Let me know how I am doing.

Happy Monday everybody! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was excellent, I was playing Kingdom Hearts II almost all weekend.

The unlikely but successful collaboration between Square Enix and Disney Interactive returns in Kingdom Hearts II; where a darkly-cloaked Mickey Mouse joins Donald, Goofy, and Sora as they continue their adventure into several popular Disney-inspired worlds. Battling against the Heartless once more, the dedicated group of friends now find themselves up against an all-new enemy threat -- a mummy-wrapped ruler of unknown origin. Also fresh to the series is a brand new meter known as the "Transformation Drive" that allows players to merge with other team members to create more powerful versions of themselves. New costume designs, improved camera controls, and the answer to lingering plot questions from the first game are also included. Developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2.
-From IGN.com
And despite the mixed reviews this game has gotten, I for one have been a fan ever since I saw my wife play the original. Now for those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 4 years...
Kingdom Hearts puts you in control of Sora, a young boy who dreams of visiting other lands. His friends, Kairi and Riku join in the fun. The game starts on Destiny Islands where you can visit with some familiar characters such as; Tidus and Wakka from Final Fantasy X and Selphie from Final Fantasy VIII. It is not long before all hell breaks loose. Kairi is sucked into a door leading to who-knows-where and Riku is swallowed up by some black mist stuff leaving Sora all by his lonesome to defeat a giant hulking black demon thing. Well, needless to say...he loses.

The game breaks to some beloved Disney characters at work.
A giant castle looms. Inside, a familiar dog is barking and in rushes the King's wizard and his Knight, played by none other than Donald Duck and Goofy. And the King you ask? King Mickey at your service. The King is missing and a mysterious note is left behind, talking about worlds being joined in darkness. The two set off on a journey to find the missing King. Their travels lead them to Traverse Town, a new world created just for the game. As they are searching, Sora awakens in the same to find himself in a new and strange place.
As he searches for Kairi and Riku, the Heartless invade Traverse Town. The Heartless are evil armies of strange creatures who share one common trait...they have no hearts. Now, battling the Heartless with a weapon called a Keyblade, Sora meets up with some more familiar characters. Leon aka. Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII. Yuffie and Aerith from Final Fantasy VII. And not to mention Cid from just about every Final Fantasy game ever made...although in KH he is modeled after his Final Fantasy VII appearance. Also in this town are our first Disney cameos. Huey, Duey and Luey (pardon the spelling) run the accessory shop in town. Geppetto runs his puppet shop there as well. I don't want to spoil the whole game for those few who have not played the game. But there are plenty of cameos for Final Fantasy and Disney fans alike.

Although I never played the GBA sequel, Chain of Memories, my brother told me all that happened so I could be ready for the new game. Kingdom Hearts II is actually a sequel that, in my opinion, beats the original. I have not gotten very far in the game yet, but it is already shaping up to be an amazing game.
You start the game as Roxas, a blonde-haired boy who lives in Twilight Town. This part of the game serves as a kind of tutorial while bringing you up to speed from Chain of Memories. Roxas and his friends; Pence, Hayner and Olette tour the town, fight in a tournament called Struggle, meet up with Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin from Final Fantasy VIII; ViVi from Final Fantasy IX and Setzer from Final Fantasy VI. That’s about as far as I got. But judging by what I have seen so far and what I have heard this is going to shape up to be one awesome game. Until next time…
