Life, The Universe and Everything.

I've never had a blog before. It never occurred to me that anyone would be interested in any of my thoughts. I think I will die of shock if I get so much as a page view. ^^; I don't often make a lot of sense to other people... I've always sort of felt like a fly on the wall.

Hm. Just a word of advice - expect a lot of weird quotes and referances: Alice in Wonderland, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater...



So. Today was pretty horrible. For the past week or so, I've been sleepy, achy, vomiting and having migraines. Now we know why: Our carbon monoxide detector went off. Something was wrong with our stove and carbon monoxide was collecting in the house. I was showing symptoms of poisoning... Luckily, it hadn't gotten dangerous yet. We were able to fix it by shutting off the gas and airing the house out. It was scary when they tested me for the poisoning - with this thing that I slid my finger into. It beeped a lot. - because if the poisoning had been really bad, they said they would've put me in a big MRI-type thing for treatment. I can't stand close spaces. >>;

That wasn't that bad, though. I'll recover. The worst part of the day was when one of my cat had kittens. Her mother looked after them because the real mother was skittish. They all died very shortly after birth... We were expecting it. Anyone could see that they weren't healthy. It was so horrible, though. It was made worse because the surrogate mother was trying so hard to keep them alive. She even snarled at me when I tried to see whether they were still living or not. She'd never done that to me before in her life.

Let's hope tomorrow is better.
