Perquiro, iPhone, Social Networks
Well here we are, at it once again. After taking some time off to work out some of the logistics behind Perquiro and how to make it better, the Perquiro project is back on the table and is being worked on. The decision was made to build a Web-based version as well as an iPhone version of the application. The initial idea was a straight mobile application, but that was scrapped out of necessity to make it better and to increase its availability to a broader audience. Updates will be provided following new developments.

NetBeans, Social Networks, Programming, C/C++
...
So, i have a couple things to say about NetBeans that i have neglected to mention earlier due to my busy schedule. Firstly, the new version of the NetBeans IDE -- version 6.0.1 -- is available for download. To check out some of the features, visit.
Secondly, there is now a Social Community over at NetBeans. Yes, you read correctly, the guys over at NetBeans has joined the social networking revolution and has set up their own community. So if you are a fan of NetBeans or the Java programming language, or if you use NetBeans for programming in some other language -- C/C++, Ruby, etc., check it out and join the community.

Project X, Social Networks
At long last, Project X is finally officially underway. i know that it took some time to breathe life into it, but there were (still are) many thing to work out; esp. from a logistical standpoint. At any rate, i configured the server last night and have begun the process of the initial site configuration. There is still tons of things to do but it will be well worth it. Additionally, i have to juggle other responsibilities as well. More to come...

Perquiro, Semantic Web, Project X, Social Networks
Gotta take a little time out to work on a new CMS project. Still pushing along with the other things on the table. Have not begun work on the Perquiro DB, but i have recruited some help to do some of the work -- maybe mostly front-end stuff; i hate that crap. At any rate, that's where it is. Several projects to work on, should keep me busy for a little while. Starting to feel really excited about Project 'X' once again; beginning to get the feeling that it will be a huge success. We will see.

Project X, Social Networks
The web is more a social creation than a technical one. I designed it for a social effect — to help people work together — and not as a technical toy. The ultimate goal of the Web is to support and improve our weblike existence in the world. We clump into families, associations, and companies. We develop trust across the miles and distrust around the corner.
