Areca Seed (Bing Lang)

Betel nuts (bing lang) If you've been in southern China or Taiwan and noticed splatters of what appears to be blood-red bird droppings all over the ground, then you've wandered into a betel nut zone. The betel or areca nut, the seed of the betel palm, is phenomenally popular in South Asia for its chewing tobacco-like qualities. Possessing many of the qualities of nicotine - including its addictiveness - betel nuts are often served chopped up, mixed with spices, and wrapped in a betel leaf (from a different kind of betel plant). Then they are chewed up and spat out in ghastly red jets.

Cigarettes

It took me about a month here to find cigarettes that I like. Here they are!

Funny, the filters of Chinese cigarettes have many different colors. Is it the same in your country?

For Volodiya

These are the pictures of the place I stay in, and some shots taken from the balconies, as you can see sometimes the weather changes. I like the photo with two towers the most.

Sky smiling

Today riding in the car from work, I saw a very unusual for this place appearance of sun. I took a picture and for me it looks like a cat smiling. And for you? It was raining today from time to time, I think there is something like a Rainbow on the photo as well, and something else on the left eyebrow. What do you think is it?
