George shares his favorite Opera features.
Through the shadows of the Web I surfed
Through the popups of the sitez annoyed
Until I found the only relief
Opera - the popup thief
Through the underweb I scanned
Pressed back and back and back and front
Too many times I lost the point.
Using gestures I soon found out
Spared a life time of running wild
Greets from sunny greece.
Keep up the good work, been with you since V.4
George

Wilm-Gert shares his story of being a long-time Opera user.
hey
i think i've been 1 of the first german opera goers:
i read about that browser and wanted to get it, so i
PHONED a guy in germany - i don?t know the name yet -
the number was anyhow attached in that news article -
and on the phone someone said:
o yes - that's my brother, but he is in south africa
just now - so you have to email him
- that was an adventure to me in that time, but it
worked and a week or so i got my first opera as an xmas
gift
go on further

Ruben shares his love of open standards and Opera.
Happy b-day Opera!
I've known you since you where 7
Quite a long path we've run
I hope you'll keep on growing
You know I'll download you
This are more democratic times
Keep on with open standards
There will be one day
When the web will be wide open
When that day does arrive
You'll know you played your part
And I'll be proud of using
The best browser in the world

Lori submitted several birthday wishes. Nice work.
This is my entry for the Anniversary Competition.
1: OPERA. The word buzzes through my head,
When I am thinking for the day ahead.
When I use Opera,
I feel as if I am in a wonderful sonata.
With it's wonderful features, I can surely assure,
that if my PC crashes, I need not worry,
*alarm clock sounds*... Even when I'm in a hurry.
2: Rising in the wind,
I sit and think about this,
Opera is for me.
3: In the Fall morning,
One person rises to say,
"Hi. Welcome, Opera."
4: Voice navigation,
Sounding clear to me today,
Opera is my life.
