Blogging Opera Cats!

Blogging Opera Cats is a Group for Opera Members to upload photos of your feline friends. Itzy's photos were taking over my BitzyMe Page so I created a new group for Itzy and other Opera Members and their Feline Friends.

That´s one sleepy cat for sure.

Cats are truly great animals. I´d chose to have a cat in my house over a dog any time. Dogs are so depending on humans - cats are the opposite. I like that in them.

I don´t have any cats, though - used to years back. today I´m into parakeets of which I have four. Funny birds with an attitude. Like that, too.

Dogs & Dependancy, that's for certain! Now if only a cat could bark to warn me someone's about, they would be perfect! Cats race to the window, use body language and go into stealth mode instead.

Parakeets and Budgies are a joy, especially if they are tame.
Near dawn and dusk they are very vocal.

I'd be willing to bet you will share your home with a cat again someday!

Actually, I did have a cat that warned me if she heard something that concerned her. Miss Merrylegs would stick her mouth close to my ear and let out a low, quiet growl. It would wake me up immediately. (Not sure if it was the growl or the hot breath in my ear!!)
We have quite a few cats at the moment, people abandon them near our home and they all seem to find their way to some good food and a warm bed at our house.
So interesting too that you posted the beautiful pictures of your tartan. My family has an old and new version of theirs too (McCallum).

Bitzy, how do you want us to upload pictures to your group?

Posts or photo albums? I don't think we'll be able to put things in the albums without moderator rights - at least, I couldn't. I've got quite a few pictures of the ex-feral kittens I was involved with in Canada that you'd probably like.
