The kind of shot I like, a beautiful formation only nature can do. I'm sure this formation must have a name, and if it doesn't. The name "Cathedral" popped into my head when I saw this image.
I belive this was Roosevelt Arch, Utah.. Bad habit of not recording my shots or maybe it just dosen't matter to me.. Was a grand trip. wife calls them My Epic Journeys.
On a trip to Alabama (wife's home state) last summer, we made a brief detour off I90 to take in Mt. Rushmore. Taking the road on past Mt. Rushmore (behind) there were several "photo opportunities" with the rock formations. However I had to pass them up, since we had to make our motel accommodations much further up the road in Mitchell, SD.
