Bits and Pieces

They say you can't do it, the truth is that you can but you'll never catch it. It doesn't matter what it is your chasing, a past relationship, a past experience, a past feeling. You'll never get the exact same thing back. Now most would say there's no point but there's nothing saying that what you'll end up with won't be better, stronger, longer lasting than the past it just wont be exactly the same. You could go into the new relationship with an ex with experience on your side. You could relive a similar experience but this time be able to enjoy it and appreciate it more.

You can set yourself up for a real fall if you aren't willing to accept the differences. Yet you can come away with more than you ever had or expected of course you could be left with a worse feeling than before, knowing what was will never be again or realising that what you had didn't really live up to the memory. Really the choice is yours, do you believe that what you had is worth chasing?
