An Angel
With your eyes as deep as oceans,
With your smile that lights the darkest corner,
With your open arms welcoming a lost soul,
With your heart, gentle and true,
With your caring words, reassuring and kind,
You've touched the heart, which I now give to you.
Words
I wish I could find the words to tell you how I feel.
To tell you just how much you mean to me.
I would say those words to you in hope.
Hope that you would feel the same about me.
Yet I can't find the words to speak of my feelings.
I could promise you the world and all you desire.
Those are empty words, impossible to fulfil.
So I'll find the words to promise you this,
You are and always will be my whole world.

They say you can't do it, the truth is that you can but you'll never catch it. It doesn't matter what it is your chasing, a past relationship, a past experience, a past feeling. You'll never get the exact same thing back. Now most would say there's no point but there's nothing saying that what you'll end up with won't be better, stronger, longer lasting than the past it just wont be exactly the same. You could go into the new relationship with an ex with experience on your side. You could relive a similar experience but this time be able to enjoy it and appreciate it more.
You can set yourself up for a real fall if you aren't willing to accept the differences. Yet you can come away with more than you ever had or expected of course you could be left with a worse feeling than before, knowing what was will never be again or realising that what you had didn't really live up to the memory. Really the choice is yours, do you believe that what you had is worth chasing?

- I demand an elevator be installed into the bell-tower.
- I demand the negotiator be no more than three days from retirement.
- I demand all reality television be scraped, if necessary a contest will be held where everyone ever involved in reality TV will fight it out to the death in a cage. (Winner will do victory laps in a minefield)
- I demand that all animal testing be abolished. (Members of PETA will take the animals place).
- I demand Canada apologise for Celine Dion & Bryan Adams.
- I demand an extra apology from French Canadians, just because.

I demand reparations for any wrongdoing ever inflicted upon my ancestors. Wait that ones just stupid.
- I demand to know what the hell Americans did with all those vowels.
- I demand that cable "news" networks wait until they actually know a damn things about me before they blame video games, Marilyn Manson, pornography, rap for this situation.
- I demand that when the "news" networks find out that they are in fact the reason, they just go ahead and blame it on the smurfs.
- I demand to know why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
- I demand that all those who bring up the 1st Amendment when it has no bearing on a subject be dragged out into the street and have their tongues removed. (Paid for by a private sector billionaire and contracted to a private sector company)
- I demand that someone fuck the MPAA/RIAA. If only to shut up digg users.
- I demand that all politicians be given a bag of pretzels and plenty of alone time.
- I demand to know whether the chicken or the egg came first.
- I demand to know who figured out you could get milk from a cow and what he though he was doing.
- I demand to know how we can get a man on the moon but not on Ellen DeGeneres.
- I demand everyone within a one mile radius of the bell-tower line up single file. (Bullets aren't cheap).
- I demand that when this is over, that a guy in a suit and a country singer sit down in a "news" studio and over-simplify the issue of gun control.
- I demand that my "Get out of jail free" card from my monopoly set be honoured in the real world.
