A woman died of hunger in Switzerland after following a diet that required to stop eating or drinking, and who lived only sunlight, the newspaper reports today Swiss Tages-Anzeiger. The newspaper reports that the woman, of Swiss origin and would have around 50 years, decided to follow a crash diet in 2010 after seeing a documentary about an Austrian Indian guru who lived this way until age 70. According to the Tages-Anzeiger, there are similar cases in Germany, UK and Australia. The prosecutor of the Swiss canton of Aargau confirmed on Wednesday that the woman died in January 2011, the city of Wolfhalden in southern Switzerland, but that body has not opened any inquiry into the incident.
