greenzoner.com, green, contest, playstation 3
...
Greenzoner is a new website out there, as Lockerz.com, but not exactly like them. The idea is more eco-friendly, and not so commercial and indie-12-year old stuff like on Lockerz.
So, I just entered the site, design-wise it's lovely. Clean, concise and green

If anyone wants a invite to their site, PM me with your e-mail and I will send a invite for you. (Yes, it's invitation only)
And so, for the greater project, and so that I hopefully win some points

, I will translate their blog into my mother language, Romanian, also including the original blog posts so that you can see what the hell I'm translating.
WARNING! Very long post

amazing, wall-e, case modding
Without knowing what I mean in the title would you know what this is?

Well it's a PC case inspired by the well known movie-robot Wall-E. And just one of the production photos where you can see a track;

And the link so that you can see all the production photos, and all the amazing attention to detail that this guy has. [Even the Play/Stop buttons, which i guess are for I/O and Restart]. Just WOW!

oglaf, 18+, comics
A new strip of comics i just found. Funny, pornographic, sick, weird. If you don't have a sarcastic sense of humor, don't click
But, as said in the text, if you're
NOT 18, don't watch'em.

mouse gestures, opera, link, Unite
That's what I would say to new and existing Opera users and to mothers that are giving birth.
I think Captain Planet had that quote.

Lavasoft has released a new Anniversary Edition (AE) of Ad-Aware anti-spyware, including a free version. Aside from the updated interface, Ad-Aware Free AE also adds new features including Ad-Watch Live realtime protection, and TrackSweep privacy cleaner.
As always I strongly recommend disabling a range of the more resource-intensive background services and options in malware scanners, as these can and will conflict with other programs and reduce performance. Click the Settings button at the top right of the main Ad-Aware page, and under the Updates tab, select the 'Do not automatically check for Updates' option under the Information Updates section. Under the Scanning tab, I suggest unticking the 'Add Ad-Aware to the Windows right-click menu' option. Under the Ad-Watch Live tab untick the 'Process Protection' option. You might also like to right-click and select Delete for the Ad-Aware icon newly added to your QuickLaunch bar. Using something like Autoruns, disable the 'Ad-Watch'/Ad-Aware Tray Application startup item. Finally, the 'Lavasoft Ad-Aware Service' can be set to Manual, at least in Vista. That will reign in most of the unnecessary functionality and intrusive aspects of the new Ad-Aware, however after launching Ad-Aware it will still insist on opening up the Tray utility and leaving it active, requiring manual closure. Ultimately it appears malware scanners are only going to keep becoming increasingly more annoying and unwarranted in their intrusion upon our systems.
