GOD SO LOVES THE WORLD THAT HE SENDS SONS

By Kriston Couchey

THE FIRSTBORN OF MANY BROTHERS

...but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, made in the likeness of men,and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake. ~Paul~
Jesus, the firstborn of many brothers came to earth as a son in the form of a servant. For 30 years He did NOTHING but be a son. When He had done no works of "ministry" Father said of Him, "This is My beloved son in whom I am well pleased..." Because of Father's love for the world, He sent Jesus to destroy the works of the devil. He became a lowly servant, while in the heavenly sphere He was fully the Son of God. He obeyed even to the losing of His own life. Jesus laid down His rights and gave Himself fully as a servant to do Father's will.

Losing our life is also what we are called to as sons (both male and female). As sons of Father, we are sent just as Jesus was sent out of that same place of completeness and security; abiding in Father's love and pleasure in us. As we have learned to abide in Him, He has revealed to us His unfathomable love as Father. We always abide in that place of His pleasure and love because He is IN US. But, because He loves the world, He sends us.

Jesus says, "...as the Father as sent me, so send I you..." The pattern: Jesus was beloved as a son, and loved His Father, then He was sent as a servant and laid down His life for others. Expect no less for we His brothers. God loves the world so much He sends His sons as servants. There is a greater glory awaiting those who for the sake of the joy set before them endure the cross and it's shame and suffering. His beloved sons are being sent in the form of a servants do the will of Father: manifesting His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. ~Paul~
We rest in the mercy and heart of Father as His children. But, in view of His great love and mercy, we present ourselves as living sacrifices, dead to our own wills, and submitted to His will as a reasonable service to God. This means to be subject to the Holy Spirit's direction; losing our own will. We are now living sacrifices, dead and given over completely to God as servants.

THEY ARE COMING
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be; but we know that if he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
What is the most impossible thing in the eyes of men? That God could take a wicked person and make them a blameless son, and then express His glory as He did through Jesus. This is something few believe God can do. He can part the seas and raise the dead... but can He really make me a manifestation of His pure heart as Jesus was? We have 2000 years of men's destructive actions under the anointing as a negative report of what God can't do.

The glory of what God is about to do in these days is ALL ABOUT WHAT GOD IS DOING IN AND THROUGH MEN! God is taking men who are weak and frail and making them sons. He is first of all bringing His glory to bear IN them, and then He is making His glory known through them; this is glory of the cross and the laying down of ones life. This is something only God can do in men. This sending of sons as servants is resulting in a glory release that is sovereign in it's expression from the Lord.

This release of the light and life of the Spirit in His sons will expand to filling whole regions of the earth with the sovereign presence and work of God. This glory needs no man to direct or administrate it. God is present in habitation as a result of first filling His people, and then filling the atmosphere of regions of the earth with the sovereignly ruled atmosphere of the throne room. Father, as a result of His dwelling in His sons sovereignly works healing, miracles, deliverance, and life changing encounters with Himself. All of this is a result of His sovereign Glory resting in and upon His sons. This is a work of REST for those who have taken up their cross and followed Him. A seventh day in which God is the one working through His people and He is the one receiving glory for it. The earthly representation of these through whom God works is that of a servant. While they reign in the heavenlies, the form to men is that of a servant, a sent one.

SHAKING EVERYTHING THAT CAN SHAKE TO THE GROUND

Right now the heavens and earth are shaking because what all creation has groaned for is finally coming forth. An end of an age has come and we are transitioning to another. These transitional labor pains will continue and increase as the mountain of the Lord expands and crushes every man-made work upon the earth. The shaking will only cease when the Kingdom of God is fully established on earth as it is in heaven. Every institution and individual will be threshed, and the chaff blown away as dust. This will result in the sons of God fully coming into their places and purposes in Father. That which is not of Him, on a worldwide basis as well as a personal basis, will be rooted out and burned.

For those who have learned their worth is not in the doing, but in being His son; God is calling them to prepare for the harvest at hand as servants and lay down their lives for men. They are being sent just as Jesus was.

THE RULE OF PEACE

, ,

THE RULE OF PEACE
Kriston Couchey

KNOWING GOD'S WILL
1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

There should never be confusion among the children of God as to God's will. God has freely given us all things in Christ Jesus, including His direction in EVERY path we are to take in life. He has given us His Holy Spirit. The Spirit gives us direction that we may know and walk fully in God's will. If you are truly His child, you are never without the Spirit of God who desires constant communion and fellowship. And how does He, the Spirit of truth lead us into God's will? He leads us by the Peace of God.

GOD'S PEACE IS YOUR RULER
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Strong's definition for the word "rule" is: to umpire, decide, determine, direct, control, or rule.

The world's definition of peace is: everyone gets along and tolerates each other. But this is not God's peace. The peace of God within is the inward indicator that directs or controls us. The pathway of obedience to God's will is paved by peace in the inner man. This does not mean our flesh does not revolt against the will of God, what it means is we must learn to walk "hearing" the voice of the Spirit within us and crucifying the flesh. We walk in a sense of peace when we are in obedience, or we experience a lack of it when we chose our own will. Peace or the lack of it is the yes and no answer of God to us. Every activity we engage in is either in concert with His will or not, and His peace is the umpire within that gives us the "green go" or "red stop" light. In all we do and say we gauge the direction and intentions of the Lord for our lives by His peace as the inward witness.

God does and will make known His will through scripture, speaking directly to us, dreams, visions and impressions. But, these are always accompanied with His peace. At times I personally experience a flow of peace like a river when engaged in an activity that is initiated by the Spirit within me. My fervent goal as of recently is to walk fully in this path of peace in every single aspect my life. This is walking by the Spirit. When we lose our own will and walk submitted to only His will we remain in peace.

GOD'S REST
Isa 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

The Rest of God is about ceasing from our own works, and putting to death your own will that God's perfect will may manifest in and through us. Jesus said, "Come to me you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke (connecting harness) upon you for my yoke is easy and my burden light." His is not a yoke of regulatory works and law . His yoke is being connected to Jesus in pulling the light burden of God's peace within. It is a bond (connection) of peace in the Holy Spirit. When we are dong our own will, we break the connection/yoke. Here is the Rest of God: ceasing your own will and works, and walking in the easy yoke (connected to Jesus) and light burden of the peace of God.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. ~Jesus~
In Gethsemane Jesus struggled with His own will vs. God's will, He became "settled" or entered into the peace of God's will when He said, "not my will, but yours be done. It was Jesus' flesh that resisted the cup of suffering on the cross, and our flesh also fears and fights. But, we can still come to peace, which is not just a feeling, but a state of being in which we are settled to do the will of God in spite of feelings. Even though Jesus sweat drops of blood there was never the lack of God's presence which is marked by His peace. He gives peace to us even in our fear. He is wanting us to enter fully into His peace by an act of our will to trust Him, and then peace fills us fully. The unsettling part is the battle. The peace of God is a tangible manifestation of the state of our relationship of trust and surrender to Father God. Total surrender to His will brings total peace.

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee.

This trust and surrender is the REST of God. We are called to enter into this rest, which is the complete dependence and confidence in God's sovereignty and grace. The battle of "striving" to enter God's rest is a battle to stop our own efforts and own tendency to do it ourself and our own way out of the fear and anxiety of our flesh. I Peter 3:11 ...let him separate himself from evil and do good; let him seek peace and follow it.

PEACE IS THE SIGN OF TRUE UNITY

Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Many unite in the name of Jesus for what they would call "Church". If you are like me, you have attended a gathering only to recognize that God is not there and His peace is not present. True unity is found in the Spirit, which is signified by a deep abiding peace of God. Gathering in a building 3 times a week does not mean God is there. True fellowship is where "the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty". There is also unity in the same Spirit in the bond of peace in and among His children.

...And entering into the house, salute it. And if the house is worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it is not worthy, your peace shall return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you nor hear your words, depart out of that house or city and shake off the dust of your feet. ~Jesus~
When you interact with others in the process of doing God's will, your peace is affected by the response of others to you. God resists the proud, and you can tell if you are not received because the measure of peace within you turns to resistance or hardening of the Spirit towards those who will not receive the Word in you. Yet when you are received God's peace flows. The state of God's peace in your heart judges or discerns the hearts of others.

PEACE AND THE BATTLE
God's peace is the greatest of weapons, disarming and disturbing the powers of hell when one who contains the peace and rest of God is present. In a spiritual battle there can be "resistance" in your inner being that needs release through prayer or intercession. This can be mistaken by the immature as missing God. But God is communicating His resistance to wickedness through this hardening in you. God is wanting us to respond in the manner He does through His inner presence and the umpire of peace within. We must harden we He hardens and flow when he flows. Let that peace rest in you as you die to your own will that God may fill you with His perfect peace. And may we learn to recognize and respond to the inner witness of the Holy Spirit.

THE COMING KINGDOM ECONOMY

The Coming Kingdom Economy
Kriston Couchey

KINGDOM ECONOMY
Acts 4:31-32 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.

It is no coincidence that when the Holy Spirit was poured out mightily in the early church, people relinquished their right to ownership and control of possessions. The kingdom economy was in motion. Previous to this outpouring, the Law established and maintained ownership rights and made giving a religious duty that compelled people to give. But, in the kingdom, the Rule of the Spirit released love in those who chose to be living sacrifices. These gave all to God, even their rights of ownership and control. This unreserved giving manifests when the kingdom has sway in the hearts of men.

Today some approach the subject of kingdom economics out of the mind of the flesh. They are held back by a "rule of law" mindset. Earthly governments and commerce systems exist based on the need for the rule of law in an age of lawlessness. The coming fullness of the kingdom of God is based upon the rule of the King in an age of righteousness, joy, and peace. His Law is: "Love one another as I have loved you."

A worldly understanding of the nature of kingdom of God in general has fostered misconceptions of the nature of kingdom economics. One great misconception is the idea that free market capitalism is a basis of the coming kingdom economy. The coming kingdom economy is not based on a system of commerce. It is an economy of Love.

Acts 2:44-45 All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

CAPITALISM

There are many definitions of capitalism, but the basic definition of capitalism can be defined as: The private ownership and control of capital. Capital is: money, goods, or assets used in the production of wealth.

Free market capitalism has served to enrich a broad spectrum of society with provision and wealth. Capitalism has been used by God to further the gospel and support those proclaiming the truth of Jesus Christ. But, capitalism is not the basis of kingdom economics. To be sure, socialism, communism, fascism, and totalitarianism are not kingdom concepts either.

Kibbutz living in Israel has been the voluntary relinquishing of ownership and control of capital by a community or society. Communal living is not more godly or ungodly then free market capitalism, and not a basis for the kingdom economy either. The kingdom of God is "righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit. The basis of the kingdom is a state of being that is found in the Holy Spirit, not a system of commerce.

An example of systems of operation being used by God for His own purposes was Pax Romana (the enforced peace of Rome). Pax Romana was not the basis for the kingdom of God, but God used this man enforced system of peace to be a uniting force that made the Gospel spread faster and farther. Like Pax Romana, capitalism has been a temporary tool used to bless people in an age of the rule of law in earthly governments.

Even the socialist agenda of many governments today will serve to further propel the kingdom as sons and daughters of God learn to receive their provision from God in hard economic times. These must quickly learn the economy of the kingdom which is not based on free market capitalism, or socialism, but on the economy of the Divine Provision by the Spirit of God.

CITIZENS OF THE KINGDOM
As citizens of the kingdom, we don't trust in or promote Pax Romana or capitalism as the answer for mankind. These are passing systems that served to bring stability during the fleeting time of fallen men's interactions with fallen men. The age of the rule of law under which these systems have functioned is quickly giving way to the Age of the Rule of the Spirit, the kingdom Age in which God is all in all. The economy of that kingdom is Love. The systems of men will crumble and give way to the kingdom reign of Christ within the hearts of individuals. It's time to establish the kingdom, which is the rule of the Spirit within the hearts of men that makes them by nature giving and law abiding.

CAPITALIZING SPIRITUAL REALITIES
Paul did not put a price tag on his hit series “Corinthians”. There were no copyrights or royalty fees for people to use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in early church meetings. But now, many things birthed of the Spirit have a price tag. The merchandisers in the temple were not much different than the sellers of spiritual things today. No one seemed to have any qualms about the services provided for a fee in the temple except Jesus. In the kingdom economy you are going to see the world's way of doing business in the church end, no more merchandising in the temple (the church) the things of the Spirit.

Using the term "kingdom business" has become a fad in Christianity. In some cases it is used to coerce people to partake in business investments and even multilevel marketing done in the name of God for a profit. We must in this hour recognize what truly is of God's kingdom and what is just another repackaged moneymaking scheme.

Where the Spirit is the Lord there is liberty. Liberty to express the nature of Christ within His people in whatever fashion most reflects His heart. As the kingdom economy emerges, there will be regions of communities that are of one mind voluntarily sharing all with each other, relinquishing ownership and control of possessions. There will also be private individuals that also provide abundance of shelter and provision for others. But all commerce will be rooted and grounded in Love.

KINGDOM CLARIFICATIONS

KINGDOM CLARIFICATIONS

KINGDOM REVELATION

Praise God for the revelation of the Kingdom of God coming forth in this hour. It seems you can't listen to any teaching today without the Kingdom of God being promoted in some fashion or another. God truly is speaking loudly in this hour about His intent for the hour in which we live. That intent is that in this hour the kingdom of God would be fully established.

FALSE TEACHINGS
Whenever God begins to bring to light an aspect of truth in a broad and powerful manner the enemy also comes in to inject the leaven of false teaching. The devil tries to sidetrack the work of God in order to make ineffective and abort the truth God is highlighting and bringing to birth. The preaching of the gospel of the kingdom to all peoples signals the culmination of God's purposes for the earth. It was Jesus' main message, "Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." The Kingdom has always been God's main message, but today God is bringing to light the fullness of the message because the kingdom is NOW being established in it's fullness as God intended. We must be sure of what we are preaching and know what the kingdom is by revelation of the Holy Spirit.

This leaven being injected today is taking the basic truth of the Kingdom and twisting it with added elements that serve the flesh of men. We must beware that much of this is the bringing in of old leaven into the new Work of God. This leaven is man made teachings that are not revelation of the Spirit. They are false concepts masquerading as kingdom truth. It is important to understand the nature of the kingdom that allows us to identify and reject the false then to focus on the error being injected. The false is sent to distract and hinder God's people from entering into their destinies in Christ. Here are a few clarifications as to what the kingdom is.

#1 THE THRONE OF THE KINGDOM IS THE HEART
...nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you.
The kingdom is the state of the heart. It is ...righteousnesses, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit. These are states of being in the hearts of God's children. The kingdom is first and foremost "within" the hearts of His children and is not an externally observable event. It is manifest among us and on the earth as we express the contents our hearts to each other and to creation.

#2 THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM ARE LIKE CHILDREN AND ARE SERVANTS
If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Values in the kingdom are unlike the values of the world. God values the innocent and trusting faith of a child. He also values men laying down their lives in service to Him and each other. Men value positions of influence.

#3 THE KINGDOM IS A FAMILY
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
The kingdom is comprised of a Father who is the king, and children (sons) that are brothers and sisters of Christ and each other. The first and foremost relationship in the kingdom is a deep and unbreakable sonship relationship to Father, and then an unbreakable relationship of brotherhood (and sisterhood) with each other. The inheritance of the sons in Father's kingdom is Father Himself. He is our exceedingly great reward. As His sons we partake of the divine person of Father in both nature and authority. In this inheritance, ALL things are ours in Christ.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

#4 THE KINGDOM IS POWER, NOT TALK
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.
The kingdom is manifest in power. Whatever is truly of the kingdom has overcoming power. That power is the power to change lives, circumstances, and to overcome all the power of the devil. If something called kingdom does not have power, it is not of the kingdom.

#5 THE KINGDOM IS ENTERED THROUGH MANY HARDSHIPS
...we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
The kingdom is going to be received through perseverance of hardship. The world hated Jesus, and it hates His ambassadors. Good times and success are not the promises of God. Jesus gave assurance that in the world we would have trouble, but He has overcome the world

#6 THE KINGDOM IS INHERITED BY THOSE RICH IN FAITH AND POOR IN SPIRIT
Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
The kingdom is not about earthly riches or treasure. God can and will supply all we need and in abundance. There is a reason scripture downplays worldly riches as it pertains to the kingdom. Being financially successful is not the measure of the spiritual state of a man's heart. If it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom then for a camel to go through an eye of a needle then we need to put our focus on what is of real importance to God. In the kingdom, God provides the means to accomplish whatever task He gives, be the need billions of dollars or simply a dollar. Riches are for the sake of blessing and accomplishing our kingdom mandate. True riches are not finances or material resources.
