A wise man once told me "The first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem". That being said, here goes: I HAVE OFFICIALLY ENTERED MY SECOND CHILDHOOD!
There. Got it out of my system.

Didn't take a Corvette.

Nor a Harley-Davidson.

Didn't take on a 20 year old lover.

Or acted an Ass in the bar (errrr...well scratch that one

)
Give me a broadband connection, an EV model 664

(the same mic Johnny Cash used to perform A Boy Named Sue) and we have a dangerous combination.
There. I've said it. And in the meantime, I'm like a wide-eyed kid in a candy store and loving every minute of it
Peace.

The nice thing about traveling any great distance in this fine country by automobile, is that those long lonesome stretches of highway gives you plenty of opportunity to genuflect on the destination.
While this might seem little obvious on the surface, The mile marker posts whistling by you counting down the numbers is a little like the years that whiz by along lifes highway. Something about focusing that tunnel vision, with nowhere but the end of the road ahead of you is kind of relaxing.
The end of the Journey is always nice, but those little things you miss along the way seem much more important. The Stuckeys just off the beaten path...Home of the Pecan Log

The Worlds Largest Prairie Dog

a concrete statue tourist trap, advertised for miles

TheWorlds Largest Ball of Twine...A must see on any trip

The Beware of Rattlesnakes Sign at the Rest Area that had a profound effect on my ability to use the pit toilet...
But at the end of the road, after passing a thousand lovely clouds... Dodging Tumbleweeds on the interstate...Trying unsucessfully to outrun the winter storm blowing off the front range of the Rockies, The destination was worth every minute
Peace,
Boz

We have big plans for the Opera Community in the pipes! Anyone that feels brave enough to throw together a 30-60 minute show, give me a buzz.
