Still Waiting On A Hurricane Named Boz

Being as we are in the peak of Hurricane Season, what better concoction than the "New Orleans Original" itself.

One of the fondest memories of my forty-someodd years was sitting on the patio at Commanders Palace in the garden district of New Orleans, quaffing back a couple of these babies before finishing off an extraordinary dinner and watching the storm clouds approaching.

So without further adoo, The Hurricane. Here we go.....
Grab a Shaker...

Fill with cracked ice...
Add: 1 oz white rum
1 oz Jamaican dark rum
1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Give 'er a good shake, until the shaker gets soooo cold, you think you can't hold on to it one second longer...
then, pour it into a hurricane glass and garnish with an orange wheel.A couple of these, and it really doesn't matter how hard the wind blows ! Now thats Lagniappe!!!
