Your Classic Rock Breakfast Is Served! COME AND GET IT !
Wednesday, 4. October 2006, 05:18:32

Thats right folks! Radio KBOZ has went live as of about midnite last night and we're serving up all your favorite classic rock and blues! (maybe even a bagel and juice if you're nice)
Bear with me while we get a little more diverse playlist built up. I still have a day job, you know.
We have big plans for the Opera Community in the pipes! Anyone that feels brave enough to throw together a 30-60 minute show, give me a buzz.
Heres the rules:
1. You must have some type of entertainment value
2. Your broadcast must be technically quality. (no broadcasting over the baby monitor!)
3. Mp3 or Ogg format
4. HAVE FUN. THATS IT. Get those creative juices flowing.
Stay tuned for some really cool prizes and new features being added to the Website. More good things to come!
Hope you enjoy and Remember: "From Holland to Hawaii--Southeast Kansas' Classic Rock and Blues--RADIO KBOZ"
Heres the Link!
PS. If you're having problems with the stream, be sure and drop us a note and we'll have someone help you with it (we have a great tech support team.)

Dantesoft, Yes WMP fails.
If you didn't buy it from Bill Gates you can't listen to it,
Espenao, We're working on a schedule as we speak. This is merely a test stream running at the moment.
The Lovely Ladys of Opera, Honey, Wicked, and Bea. Thanks and I'm looking forward to your involvement <cough, hint, cough>
Blessings All,
Boz

Try oggplayer or Apollo. There both really lightweight and I believe Apollo is platform independent... Here at the studio I almost always use Beep.
Cheers,
Boz

I have winamp 5.30 pro version. ogg plugin is ok.
I try to open "http://amber.streamguys.com:4100/live.ogg" and it starts, but no SOUND. Other ogg streams are ok. (I can listen to other streams without any problem. e.g.-http://8268.str.ovh.net:8268/graffic.ogg)
Can anobody help me?
