I made cupcakes! I had to throw the first batch away because the batter was too thin. But the second batch worked out fine! They were yummy

It has been a while since I returned from not-so-sunny Spain. We went to Santa Susanna as a school trip and guess what? The hotel where I will do my internship was right across the hotel we stayed in! It's so pretty! It has a huge pool and it looks really neat inside.
I had a window seat and the cabin crew still did the safety instructions by hand That's cool, not many people payed attention which I think is wrong, because you never know what is going to happen. I enjoyed it because I'm obsessed with everything aviation. I wish to be a flight attendant myself one day
Nightlife
Next to the hotel was the club QK, I only liked it the first time we went there. They play the same music every night. When you are inside you can see the swimming pool, so in the summer you can watch women (or men) in their bikini's.
We went to the TMF bar twice, TMF is a Dutch music channel. You get 1 liter of all drinks for just 6,50 euros! The first time we went there I got a little wasted and as the night went on me and my classmates were the only people left, together with two black gangstas and an old man. I was dancing all alone on the stage And I requested a Christina song and of course they played Dirrty! Omg I'm so embarassed lol. I even did the '(low for sure) Shake a little somethin' (on the floor)' part Next time we went there the DJ played 'Dirrty' and immediately after that 'Lady Marmelade', I think he did it for me because once again we were the only ones left and I told him I was a Christina Fan
Murder
When we walked to the train station we saw blood on the pavement, and it left a trail to a bench. Super gross! Maybe somebody was stabbed there or something???
Shopping in Barcelona
Shopping in Barcelona is sooo great! I can't wait to go back, I really had to keep myself from buying! They have a huge Sephora and Starbucks! Plus a market where you can buy delicious fruit
Cycling in Barcelona..
..is so much fun!! We had a Dutch guide and we cycled on orange bikes! It's a great way to explore the city. It was one of the highlights of the excursion! Luckily mother nature was nice to us and gave us sun.
I don't like heights!
I am a little bit afraid of heights, but I did face my fears! Even though you are safely secured and you can't fall down it's still very scary to be so high up in the air!

Our leaking touringcar
We were on our way to a golf course when the touringcar suddenly started leaking! It was soooooo weird, I was at the right side of the bus, but the people on the left side weren't so lucky. It started with gross brown fluid coming out of the ceiling at one point, but suddenly the whole left side started leaking and people panicked. They all went to stand in the middle of the bus.. Next thing we knew the right side started leaking too, more panic! The road went steep downhill so suddenly all the fluid went to the front of the bus. There was a hole in the ceiling above the driver. It looked like he was taking a shower! He was soaked all over He couldn't just stop the bus so he had to keep driving! That sure was an adventure we didn't expect!
Golfing
Gosh I SUCK at golfing. I don't like it at all. Bleh I was getting so annoyed, at one of the games you had to put the ball in the hole from up close, but I kept missing the darn hole! At one point I said to my Spanish instructor 'I suck' and he replied 'Si' I gave up after that
My first kiss
I had my first real kiss in the discotheque QK. I was dancing when suddenly a strange man started dancing behind me and he kept pressing me to drink from his drink. I didn't do it because you never know what they put in it, my friend was dancing next to me so I took her drink out of her hands and took a sip. Luckily the guy went away not too long after.
Anyway there was an Italian guy, he wanted to kiss me but I did not kiss him back until I thought 'what the hell' and did kiss back It was my first kiss I don't even know his name! I went back to the hotel afterwards because I did not know what to do
Afterwards all I could think of was that I let a stranger put his tongue in my mouth, ew gross!

New shoes + Laptop!

I also bought a pair of red pumps, but they have to be delivered because they only had them in white.
I also bought a new laptop! And seriously.. I'm so in love with it
It's soo pretty! It's red! At first I wanted the pink version but they only had the black, brown or red version. But red is really pretty too! It's my favorite color.
Yesterday I made apple strudel with vanilla sauce and it came out very well.
I bought two books, the private lives of Pippa Lee by Rebecca Miller and Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I bought those books because I'm planning on seeing the movies!
I have no more school to attend so basically I already have vacation. Which means so much more time to do things!
There was a murder in our town!

I was at work but my colleague came to work and said somebody got murdered in our town! The whole street was sold.. I don't know if it was a man or woman. The latest rumor is that the victim was stabbed!
This is not the first time somebody got killed in our town!
We have had 2 murders in our town! A woman killed by her man, an old lady killed during a robbery in her home..
Edit: My dad just told me the person was murdered in 'the Dissel', a street 400 meters away from us!! And my parents didn't notice anything.. Apparently some time before a man left in a hurry with suitcases.
WTF I live in a small town, 4500 people!!
You know, this is irrational, but I'm kinda scared. We live in such a small town but it can just happen anywhere I realize now!

It's already online in the newspapers.
Nu.nl reports that it is a man. He was still alive when they found him at about 7.30 pm but died later that evening.
And ED.nl reports that the 22-year-old occupant of the house fleed around 17.15pm with a duffle bag and few belongings. A few hours later he was arrested by the police at the A2 exit Budel.
The police don't say under what circumstances the man died. They also don't mention the identity or age of the man.

I have always wanted to go to London! I would love to go sightseeing and shop till I drop!
As you may know I'm leaving for Spain on May 13nd and I really want to take a small break before working my butt off for 5 months
I have been to the UK before with my friends Tessa, Stijn and Jaimie. But this time I will go alone with my friend Tessa. It will be grand to see her again! We haven't each other for over a year!
We will be staying in London for three days. I know that's way too short to see everything. But that means I'll just have to return one day
My plan is to as much sightseeing as we can on one day. And use the other day to shop. I better stop spending money on drinks to save up! I wanna go to Primera so bad! Today I saw a lot of cute t-shirts but I kept myself from buying them by thinking 'Primera primera primera'

Bringing the house down

I surprised my mom with a ticket to the P!nk concert in Ahoy Rotterdam when we went to Belgium together. I was supposed to go alone with my friend Jaimy, but now that my mom had a ticket she could drive us. We arrived at Ahoy at about half past 6 but there was already a really big line. The line became shorter and shorter and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was jumping up and down, stressing out, shouting ‘we have to hurry!’ all over again. When I was inside the venue I was shouting at people hurry up and I was running like madman to the stage. It worked out because we were pretty close to the stage Unfortunately my friend Jaimy wasn’t feeling so well so she went away to sit on the tribune. Poor soul missed half of the show because she had to throw up.. I felt bad for her but I didn’t want to leave my spot close to the stage. I’m a terrible friend and I know it. The support act was ‘Raygun’. I really dig their music and the band members are cute *blush* . At about 9 pm it was time for P!nk. They started the show with a video of P!nk doing some pretty naughty stuff (like setting a house on fire) to the tunes of her 'Highway to hell' cover, a song by AC/DC. After this P!nk made her grand entrance, it was awesome. A dancer appeared on the stage and started winding a jack in the box when the stage opened and P!nk appeared hanging at a wire. She kept getting higher and moved to the main stage. Everybody was screaming so hard and she had a huge smile on her face. The best part was when the melody of ‘Bad influence’ began.
During the end of ‘So what’ the dancers pushed a guy onto a bed and started hitting him with cushions, then pulling his clothes of and strapping him to the bed.
'Just like a pill'. It was almost the same as on the I’m not dead tour.
'I touch myself'. This was really sexy! P!nk was singing this song while sitting and lying on a red couch with holes in it. At the end of the song hands appeared that touched her. She was wearing a really cool green see-through outfit.
She got a lot of presents. Before she started singing ‘Crystal Ball’ somebody threw a banana on the stage. She picked it up and said ‘what the…?!’, that sure was funny. People also threw a kind of sunglasses and a baseball cap on the stage. She put on the glasses during one of the songs.
'Sober'. Wow this was so cool! She wore a purple outfit with a sticker on her left breast. She was high in the air on the trapeze doing all kind of crazy stuff! Hanging with both hands, hanging with one hand, doing the falling and catching the guy thing etc. At one point she went to stand on a sort of swing and started to swing. At the end she went down doing flips, that was really cool!
I was happy when she sang Don’t let me get me, but I was even happier when she sang ‘Please don’t leave me’ too! She didn’t sing that song at Belgium and the first Dutch date. When I heard the beginning of the song I turned to my mother saying excited ‘She didn’t sing this last time’.
She forgot the words of ‘Ave Mary A’…. again! But she picked it up again and thanked the crowd for helping her remember it. I love that song and know every word.
When she sat down to sing ‘I don’t believe you’ she told us to get sad (I think that she says that at every show) plus she mentioned her biceps are sick. Somebody yelled at her saying ‘There are holes in your pants!’, she responded to that. They started the song but she said it sounded bad. In fact they started the song 2 times before she finally started singing for real. Just to tease us.
I still had my glow stick from the Belgian show. They cost 1 euro there and 5 euro in Holland. I think that is the reason why about only I had one! During the Queen cover ‘Bohemian rhapsody’ my mom had it and pointed it to the music. P!nk was standing near us and pointed at us!! She smiled really cute Best moment of the whole concert!
