Institute Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassan Bolkiah Awards Best Performers

Tutong - The best performers of Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah were rewarded yesterday morning to further encourage the outstanding students during an appreciation ceremony held at the institute in Jalan Tutong.
The event's guest of honour was Acting Principal Ustaz Dr Ashraf Mohamed Fouad Mohamed Amin, who advised them to continue working hard and get excellent results in their future.
He also called on the students to be sincere and humble, as well as to perform prayers, read the Quran, look after their health and carefully choose friends who'can guide them on their true paths.
"If you do all things with good intentions or reasons, then you are on your way to achieving success, both in this world and the hereafter," he said.
The students, who topped Quran classes, achieved academic excellence and obtained the best results in public examinations, received gifts presented by the guest of honour.
The institute's Exemplary Student award went to Mohd Yassir Dr Hj Ibrahim, who has completed his course and with honours before furthering his studies at the Islamic Universiti Islam Sharif Ali.
The students who topped their classes were considered very good performers, while those who obtained marks of 90 per cent or higher were called excellent achievers.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
