Isra' Mi'raj Celebration At ICC Today

Bandar Seri Begawan - The National Celebration of Isra' and Mi'raj for 2007 will be held today (Aug 11) at 9 am at the Plenary Hall, ICC Berakas.
The main event is the announcement of the outcome and presentation of prizes to winners of the Tauladan Ugama SchoolAward. This year, 147 Ugama schools across the nation have competed in four categories in the finals.
This includes Administrative Category for Tauladan Ugama School Award, Academic Category for Tauladan Ugama School Award, Activity Category for Tauladan Ugama School Award and Overall Winner for Tauladan Ugama School Award.
The theme of the Isra' and Mi'raj is "Memperkasa Iltizam Kehidupan Berugama".
In relation to that, the full rehearsal for the National Celebration of Isra' and Mi'raj for 2007 was held for two days - on Aug 8 at 8pm and on Aug 9 at the Plenary Hall, ICC.
The National Celebration of Isra' and Mi'raj for 2007 is organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The Islamic Dakwah Centre is also organising a creative writing competition in conjunction with the Isra' and Mi'raj celebration. The closing date for sending in entries is Aug 30, 2007 at 4pm the latest. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
