Corporate Buyout and The Henge

My hit counter just rolled over 10,000 hits, 10,009 to be exact. I have emailed Google's acquistion department and hope to hear back from them tomorrow. Based on the $1.65 Billion they paid for YouTube, My blog is worth about $15,000. And it will be worth even more once I start posting self taped videos of me crashing my motorbike. What the heck, $15,000 will support another Baja trip, or a new sled. There is snow in them thar hills.
Anyhow, as I mentioned the other day, we have arrived in the UK. Given the size of Poco's entourage, I was a little concerned about my aiblity to get everything in a rental car. They don't make Excursions in the UK, and even if they did, it wouldn't fit anyhow. Kim proudly told me that she got al her stuff and Eric's stuff in one suitcase, and all Connor and Emily's in another. Great I thought. I guess I should confess I had two bags, but I had to carry work supplies. Kim neglected to mention, that these were the SuperDuper Sized suitcases with the expansion bit stretched taut. Then we have the full on, bigger than a Buick stroller.
I booked us a minivan. As we unloaded a pile of gear suitable for a short expedition up Everest from the Shuttle bus the Rental car guy started laughing. I am sure he wondered where the Sherpas were. I insisted we could fit it all in, so he watched me try in vain. He said, "Hold on, I have something more suitable". He brought around this:

This is a Ford Transit Van. It seats 9 large people with all of their luggage. We are taxing it's ability. Rugby clubs require one of these to travel. The good news is there is nothing strapped to the roof, a good thing as we scraped into the Wembley Car Parkade.
So we loaded up the Van and headed to The Henge. We figured Eric should learn some Pagan rituals.

However Eric wasn't that interested.

Thanks to Donovan Lyman from the band Blue Meridian for the family picture.
Since I have to work, and the rest of E's Entourage require transport for daytime activities, I picked up a commuter car for myself.
Cheers

So happy you found a vehicle to fit. Luck was on your side. Any flats yet?
