Fat Guy Follies

E's, Emily's and Connor's big adventure is over. They headed home on Tuesday. Apparently it was a fairly uneventful flight. Wee E didn't fuss until time to clear customs. Then he kicked it up a couple of notches, so the customs guy just waved Kim on through. Hopefully he can keep that up for a few more years.

Last Monday a trip to Alnwick Castle (pronounced Annick) was in order. It is where a large chunk of the Harry Potter movies were filmed.


Connor got on his Knights gear, and Emily hung out in the stocks. At the end of the day Emily declared the England is way more fun than Disneyland.........Maybe because I was working???


Sunday was a trip to Strathaven, where my Mum was born, and then to Edinburgh.



The trip was not without incident, but I know better than to mention Kim's mishap with the van lest the incident whereby a tree rear ended me comes to the light of day.

I can understand Emily's comments. Disneyland has nothing on this.


I guess I have to work now.
