The “official” results have been released from SCORE. We took third in class at the 2006 Baja 1000 last week.
Riders & team members, the check points times have not been released, but when they have, I’ll break down each riders section and get it to you.
More overall “official” stats:
Total teams in our class = 52, we placed 3rd.
Total pro teams = 336, we finished ahead of 257 of them
Total teams overall = 431, we finished in 81st place
Total pro bike/quad teams = 76, we finished 30th
Total elapsed time for our team = 26 hours, 59 minutes and 29 seconds
Average speed = 39.012
Average moving speed (via Rally logger GPS) = 45.177 (this means without the lighting problems and the flat tires, we would have been 7th place bike, and 34th overall).
Max speed (via Rally logger GPS) = 104 MPH
Total KTM’s entered = 10, we finished 1st.
Days until the next Baja 1000 = 359
