2 Sled Trips, Some Clarification and Ali's BDay

First I need to clear up a slight misunderstanding. I was speaking with Eddie today to get the real scoop on Mic's weightloss. Eddie suggested that Mic's shadow was roughly the same size as before. Then he asked me about the floatation device I was wearing in the first pic in my January 20 2007 Blog Update. Eddie mistakenly assumed that due to my close proximity to the water, that I was wearing an inflatable life vest under my shirt. Nope, that was just my dinner.
We have been out on a couple of sled trips. Brent, Kim and I headed up Brohm Ridge the day after our return from the East side of the Atlantic. For once in my life, a late start worked in my favour. We met people in Squamish telling us conditions were horrible and they were on their way home, however by the time we got up, the conditions had improved enough that we had a great day of sledding. Kim got a few hill climbs in.

Ali turned 40 so we all headed off to the Casino for dinner and to lose some money. Some of us lost more than others though. Unfortunately Grant Gray wasn't around to make the Flaming Lamborghini, so it didn't flame, and the shots were put in together creating a terrible tasting concoction. I tasted it and had the same reaction as Ali. Grant, you need to come back home...

I am back in the UK and eating well in anticipation of my upcoming belly check against Mic and his struggle this weekend. Witness the infamouse TJ's Special Burger, and another special lunch from the catering truck.

Brent and I had a fantastic day sledding on Sunday. Here is a teaser for my next post.

Check back in the next day or so for some more sledding pics.
