Snowing and Last Sled Trip

It's snowing again in Vancouver this morning. Wreaking havoc with plans for a big snowmobile adventure. As unlikley as it seems, when it snows in the city the traffic crawls to a stop. Also the mountain pass we were going to drive through becomes treacherous. We may have to re-think our trip after checking the highway cams.
Last weekend we went to Lori and Andrew's Cabin in Tulameen, hereafter referred to as L&A's place. We hauled up the sleds and a large number of kids. Saturday we headed out towards the Coquihalla in search of some bowls. Beautiful groomed high speed roads greeted us as we headed out the Lawless FSR. Kim hit 60 mph on the RMK, while Brent maxed his sled at 72. The mountain sleds we ride are limited by gearing and big tracks.

We found what seemed to be a promising area, but were running out of time and Andrew was low on fuel, and since he runs mixed gas, we headed home.

The kids decided they wanted in on the fun so we turned them loose on the sleds

Connor seems a little small for the REV.....
We had a great dinner of Andrew's deep fried chicken, (although his cooking technique might be somewhat suspect) and Brent's now famous flamining prawns.

Have to go shovel the driveway, so more kid pics and last Sunday's sledding to follow.
Cheers
Bryan
