Eck's New Friend

Happy Spring! The first day of spring in the UK was a nice day at the start, at least in Leicester. Didn't see much else of it, as we worked until late. Today I had to drive to Heathrow to fly home. Last night I went to the National Car Rental counter at East Midlands Airport and told them I wanted an extremely ugly car, the uglier the better, extremely underpowered, no road feel, a shifter that feels like stirring mashed potatoes with a wooden spoon, and the most bizarre interior controls one could possibly dream up on a very bad acid trip. The nice gentleman said, no, we have no such car, instead we have a very nice Picasso, a very nice car to drive, or at least that is what I thought he said. I got just what I asked for.
Voila
Imagine having a car with features like the ability to reset the trip odometer, only if you are sitting in the passenger seat. Or another button that turns off the fuel gauge to reduce the clutter on the instrument panel.
I digress however, I started to talk about Wee Eck's new friend. Wee Eck went to visit Big Mick and Kelly, as opposed to Mick the singer in Eddies band. He was quite taken with Mick, as this was the first person Eck had met with less hair than him.
My plane is supposed to be on time, so in about 12 hours I should be home.
Cheers
Bryan
