Fat Guy Follies

The Police played 3 shows in Vancouver this week. That would be Sting, Andy and Stuart Police as opposed to the guys with the handcuffs. This is the start of the tour, and they still liked each other. Brenda, Jerry, Kurt and Stacey came up from Bellinghan to watch the show with us. We started at Bridges Restaurant, where the atmosphere on the deck is great, but they have the most expensive fish and chips in town. $22, and I forgot to take a picture of them. They also serve Cosmos, and cold beer.

Then it was off to see the show. We had seats in the nosebleed sections, but it was still a great show. Andy seems to be on the same rapid weightloss program as me! Sting sounded the same as the last time I saw them, back in 1985.

It seemed like they played every song I knew, but still the concert seemed to fly by.


A good time was had by all.
