Baja 500 T-357
Thursday, June 28, 2007 3:56:12 AM
We have offically started the training phase for the 2008 Baja 500. The next 357 blog posts will be solely devoted to our training and race prep, unless of course I get sidetracked.
First off I would like to introduce the newest member of our 2008 Race Team. His name is Paco, but we call him whatever he wants to be called. He is riding a XR650R in this picture, not a 100 like you might think. We decided that since we were paying for the full suspension on the bike, we might as well make use of it. We will be competing in the class where your team weight must be more than the displacement of your bike. Between Dan, Brent, Paco and me, we will be riding a 1200. Over half a Ton of Rock and Roll.
Two weekends ago we rode out to Grizzly Falls with Steve and Michael.
Then we headed way out back searching for new sledding areas.
The road crossed this creek, or maybe the creek crossed the road, so always up for a photo op, Brent blasted on through. It turns out the water was quite chilly.
Now for a bit of sidetrack. This is what happens when Dad tried to feed Poco Burrito.
Cheers
