Girly Man-U

I had to drive to Manchester yesterday to pick up parts, and never having been to Manchester I decided to check out a bit of the city. My destination was very close to the Manchester Ship Canal and Old Trafford. I decided that since I was in the area, I would visit the footbal stadium where Manchester United play.
I do not hold allegiance to any Premiership teams, this was just a vist of interest. Steve is a fan, so I was planning on taking some pictures for him. As I walked towards the stadium, I could here music and singing, and I could see some Circus tents.
It turns out that the Bangkok Girly Boys had a show set up in the parking lot for the month of July. Hmmmm. Is this what Man U fans do in the off season?
Other than that revelation, the rest of my short trip to Manchester was uneventful. I toured the wharf, which appears to have been recently rejuvenated.
It reminded me a bit of Vancouver, with lots of people out running, walking and cycling along the paths. I chickened out and took the lower deck across the bridge.
Cheers
Glad for the Canucks Bryan

Interesting to see some people walking along the top of the bridge. I don't know how they got up there. Maybe something to try on my lunch today.
