After reading about my trials and tribulations with the boat, you may be surprised that we made it to Green Lake, in Mum and Dad's motorhome pulling the boat, without incident. Even more surprising is that the boat did not break down despite Emily's attempts at wearing it out with her repeated calls for the "Circle of Death" while on the inner tube behind the boat.
Every morning when I got up the lake was calm and like glass, and a couple of mornings I actually got out for first ski. Brilliant.
I have heard of people who get up early in the morning to go to work. This is one of the few things that is worth getting out of bed for.
The week of family vacation was great. Eric got to play in the dirt, and everyone had fun and I ate like I was skinny.
