Year 1 By The Numbers and The Big Party Pics

Eric is one year old, so I thought I would tally a few things up.
15,500 - number of frequent flyer miles in Eric's account
12,223 - number of times Eric's picture has been taken
3285 - number of diapers changed
3250 - the number of times Dad has avoided changing a poopy one
1643 - the number of bottles consumed
133 - number of times he has bumped his head
84 - number of words in Eric's vocabulary, unfortunately none of those are English
22 - Eric's weight in lbs
4 - The number of teeth Eric has and the number of nights where Eric has slept for more than 6 hours straight.
3 - number of stamps in Eric's passport
1 - number of missing remote controls since Eric learned what they do, and how to remove the heat register covers.
0 - number of times he has kick started the Honda XR650R
The big party was on Sunday. I seriously lost the argument about whether Eric needed a party before he turned sixteen. It was a big deal.
We kept all the kids in a cage for a while.
Since the weight limit on the trampoline is 200 lbs, The kids had to time the jumps so that at least half of them were in the air at anyone time.
When it came time to open the presents, it was pretty hard for Eric to even get close....
Although he did manage to find an empty bag to play with.

Eric did get to show off his new Toque from Grandma, and his new trick - clapping. His other new trick, dancing is a little harder to capture without video.
Then it was time for the cake.
Kim baked a great cake for Eric, which required serious attention to eat. I discovered that food colouring doesn't change colour as it goes through the digestive tract.
Aunt Donna baked a yummy cake for Kaila as well. It was her birthday party too, but Eric sort of stole the show.
Cheers
Bryan
