Close to France

I forgot to add a couple of pictures from our Penticton trip. We did a wine tour, and had lunch at the Red Rooster Winery.
The winery makes reasonable wine in a fantastic setting, with good food on the patio, and nice lawn for relaxation, something very important for a fat guy, after a hard day of tasting. We could almost imagine that we were in the South of France, listening to Christian and Catherine, "can you believe it?"
Although Eric did was confined to the Five Alive juice box, he did give a demonstration of the effects of being overserved.
On a slightly more serious note, my friend David Balan is going in for surgery tomorrow to have a tumor removed. It is not malignant, but he is going to have a big cut in him. Some of my friends will remember Dave from his monthly updates from Iraq. I wish him well.
Cheers
