Sorry for the delay since the last post. As many of you know communication is a enormous challenge in Baja.
Here is what I know so far. After handing the bike to Mike Johnson, he scorched his section in 8.5 hours, a full 1.5 hours sooner than planned. He handed the bike to Korny (rider #3) @ 8:30 P.M. Mike then rode the bike all night, and almost 400 miles in a 10 hour period. Mike then passed the bike to Chris (rider #4) at 6:30 A.M.. The details get sketchy at this point, but Chris then rode for the next 9 hours (or so). While we do not have an official time, the BIKE HAS CROSSED THE FINISH LINE!!!!
We also do not have an official finish position as of yet, but for now, it looks like we are in 3rd, Class 30 pro. Korny is calling me later tonight, and I will update.
