My surgeon told me no snowmobiles or dirtbikes until Jan 2009. That was going fairly well until last weekend. The snow has been calling and calling, and finally I heeded the call. Brent, Glen and I headed to the cabin Friday night. Saturday was cloudy up top, but we were the only ones tracking out a couple of feet of fresh snow.
Glen was riding his new Dragon, but still has to get some of the bugs worked out.
One of the bad things about being first on the mountain, is that you get to trigger the avalanches. We have learned to ride the small hills first, if they slide, stay off the big hills. The small hill slid.
These pictures were taken the next day. Glen triggered the avalanche just after dark, so we retired to the cabin for Cosmos. Rod, Craig and Meagan stopped round as well, but we forgot to get the camera out. Next time.
