Fat Guy Follies

Sunday was the Annual Duck Races at the Hook and Ladder Pub, and once again despite another full year of daily training with my duck, it finished well back in the pack. Unfortunately not quite far enought back to pick up the last place prize.

In keeping with teaching Eric about all the good things a Pub has to offer, he had his first Hot Dog, and quite enjoyed it. All except for the last bite which I just found in my jacket pocket this morning.

Eric cheered the ducks on from the home strectch

So many ducks and such a small bathtub at home.

Even with Connor, Indy and Leon assisting Allard as duckherders, I still could not pick up a win, place or show.

Eric did pick up a fuzzy duck in the Raffle.

And Connor got his own duck to train for next year.


At the end of the day over $3000 was raised for the Surrey Memorial Hospital.
