I am in the US, where the measurment system is based on the distance between some long dead king's elbow and his nose. I needed a metric M10x25 Flathead capscrew, and figured that I might have a bit of difficulty finding one. So I googled some hardware stores and phoned them. The first call was to Ace Hardware. I told the girl what I wanted, she paused and said, please hold while I put you through to the hardware dept.
