Fat Guy Follies

After the ceremony we thought a small Bocce game or two might help pass the time before the food was served. Based on the action at the sign up board, I think some people may have came just for the tourney.

I partnered with Aussie Rules Gray, and we handily defeated the French Force of Sebastien and Kiki.

It took the Tartan Army of Eddie and Mick a while to distinguish between Bocce and the shot put

The competition was fierce in some rounds

While things may have dragged on in the Blonde vs Blonde match of Troy and Moi vs Kim and Lorrie.

The judging staff kept everything in line though.

In the Semi Finals The Tartan Army pulled out a squeaker, narrowly defeating Aussie Rules and I. The went to their short game, something I have heard they excel at.

That put Eddie and Mick in the finals against Kim and Lorrie. The pipers started warming up early in the match, but Kim and Lorrie kept them going well into the evening, although the match was momentarily disrupted when a Soccer(Football) game broke out and a streaker ran across the pitch. There are no pictures as everyone was laughing too hard.

Finally the band piped in the winners.
