I Got Me A New Shirt
Friday, December 5, 2008 6:40:12 AM
During Micks stay in the colonies his wardrobe appeared to consist of an ACDC T-Shirt. I decided that I had to get one too, so we went on a shopping trip. Ticket to ACDC Concert $200, Hotel for the Night Downtown $220, Parking, Taxi, Beers (Another long story here)$85.24. I am now the proud owner of a $515.24 ACDC Shirt. I hope it lasts.
ACDC are all about Rock and Roll, and have been that way for along long time. Not much has changed. Brian's voice still sounds good, and when he sings, you can't tell he is a Geordie, (much like you can't tell Eddie is a hillbilly when he sings.) Even the crowd is the same. Last time I saw Karl and Dawn from Princeton was at the last ACDC show about 10 years ago ( or so it seems). We had a good laugh and I forgot to take their picture. I did get a picture of Lori and Andrew though.
Angus still fits into his schoolboy outfit, although there is a bit more glare off the top when his hat came off. Someone needs to point out that a 61 year old skinny guy doing a strip tease on stage isn't really sexy, at least in my wifes opinion, but I will allow that she might be partial to us fat blokes.
They still have all their old concert gear, the Bell from the Hells Bells Tour, the inflatable Rosy, the Riser for Angus to lie down and spin around on, and of course the Cannons.
Andrew didn't get a new shirt.
I tried to convince him to get a new haricut like this guy, without sucess.
A good time was had by all and with the hotel and the latecheck out, we got to sleep in on a Saturday.
Thanks Grandma for looking after Wee Eric.
Cheers
ACDC Bryan

Heidi and I were sitting right below you guys in row 6, section 119!!! What a great concert! Wish we would have known you guys were there. Cannons at the end blew my eardrums out! Todd and Dora had a couple of extra tickets. Our lucky day!
Hope you guys have a terrific Christmas!
