Another My.Opera Blogger suggested that someone warn the Cubans, so the other day Kim and I were in La Habana Cuba,
and I was once again trying to out Mohito Ernest Hemmingway. We were in the bar at the Hotel Ambos Mundos (Ernie lived in room 511 for a while), when from across the bar I hear an Aussie say "Oh Sh*t".
It was my mate Ron.
He was over from Cayman with his Dad. We decided it would be rude if we did not join them for several more drinks.
Earlier in the Day we had stopped at Partagas to pick up some Cohibas and Romeo v Julieta No. 3s,
and then headed to La Floridita, where the Daquari was invented.
It seems that "Papa" Hemmingway was a fan, or at least stopped by here from time to time.
You know you have a drinking problem when............

He also got his name on the sign outside.
A stop in La Bodeguita del Medio, home of the Mohito was also required.
Finally it was back to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba to enjoy the evening.
Cheers
