My OperaMonday Mornings

It is fantastic to wake up Monday morning with a few cobwebs in the noggin, then when you first move you feel the soreness in your shoulders and arms, followed by the sunburn tingle on your back. For me, this means I had a good summer weekend, on a boat with a couple of beers and a bit of water skiing.
We headed up to visit Jimmy this weekend, and found him and Cam enjoying a quiet Saturday night in.
It was Elvis Fest in Penticton, The Hot Rod Weekend, and The Electric Garage Car Auction (or so they claimed) But none of the above were behind our decision to vist Penticton. Here is a shot of the faithful filing in early Sunday morning, to get a good spot in front of the stage for the Elvises (Elvi?) gospel competition.
Jimmy had his Vette in the auction, but from our point of view it did not live up to it's bidding as the Barret Jackson of Canada. Some organisational and attendance issues. Needless to say his car did not sell.
Since Jimmy didn't end up with a big stack of cash to take to the Casino, we headed for the marina, upwrapped the boat and headed on the lake.
It was a fanatastic day on the water..... is there any other type of day?.
Both Hill and I got wet and put on the ski for a spell.
We pulled in for a quick stop at the Penticton Lake Resort.
This is what happens when you leave your nice puppy tied up to your new deck boat and go into the bar for several drinks.
Finally a bit of relaxation with some tunes on the lake, before the drive home.
