You know it is hot when you can't get a steak cooked any other way than well done. This was the ambient air temp reading in my Formula 1 Saturn after work today.
I suspect the heat radiating off the parking lot may have affected the reading somewhat, but even 5 minutes later it was still warm.
I was considering going for a long run, to match Kim's 8 run miles today, but given the heat, I decided to phone Ken and Michelle and head to Charlestons for dinner instead. If you believe I was going for a run, drop me a line, I have some land for sale (at low tide).
Michelle went for the Pork Chops, and for people who live outside of Oklahoma, the other stuff on her plate is Okra. Okra is a vegetable, something that rarely crosses my lips, but she convinced me to taste it. It wasn't bad.
Ken did the Rigatoni
I went for the ladies cut 8 oz prime rib, on account of my continuing rapid weight loss program.
Ken's rapid weight loss program required him to leave two lonely rigatonis on his plate too.
I may have cut donw on dinner in part due to the big Braum's lunch. One of my favourite fast food burgers, after Whitespot. They make the milkshakes by hand, with real ice cream, in a steel cup, on one of those bzzzz bzzzz milkshake machines.
