Nakusp Music Festival Part 1

We headed off to Nakusp for the music festival. I was a little hesitant given my experience at Scotlands crappiest music festival with Mick. I was greatly relieved when I discoved that I did not have to share a tent with a snoring insomniac. Instead we were hosted by Rocky of Arrow Lakes Septic Tank Services - Number 1 in the Number 2 business, and Rory.
Naksup is on Arrow Lake, which Rocky told us was his private lake. I later discovered he was lying as I saw one other boat during the 4 hours we spent on the lake.
The lake was perfect for skiing.
Due to the incredible weather, hot temp of 36C, and the need to break in the blender, we headed for Rocky's private beach

First thing on the agenda was to break in the new cordless blender.

The blender worked well and produced the expected results with some of the lightweights in our group.
Then it was time for a ski. Cory piloted the boat, and several of us got up for a ski.
Karen gave us a great demonstration on how not to finish a water ski

After a great day on the water, we headed off to see some music, but more on that later.
Cheers

Fire is all under control on the Westside so all is good! Little scary for a couple of days. The Terrace mountain fire is roaring away... Hopefully this rain will get things back under control there too. Hope the music fest was fun!

Just wait until you see some of the other cool things we have here in the colonies on an upcoming post.
Glen - Can Tire is supposed to carry them. Coleman. Glad the fires are moving away. I finally did find my legs though
