Nakusp Wrap Up

Our weekend in Nakusp was so much fun that we did not want it to end. Great people, great music and great weather. On Monday we even headed back to Rocky's Point Beach (we have now named it). The excuse was to avoid the 4 hour ferry lineup, but in reality it would not have taken much of an excuse to head back to the beach. I think I have posted enough beach pics, so back to the music

Outside of the Trooper band, all the other music we saw was fantastic. John Popper and Blues Traveller was the highlight for Kim and I. Kim is now calling them her favourite band.

Some of the other bands we were fortunate enough to see were;
The Greg Rolie Band
Sam Moore - Amazing show, and incredibly humble man.
Emerson Drive - I was not really into Cowboy Music, but then again, who can fault a band that causes Kim to buy a hat.....

Colin James - who Kim proclaims is even cuter than the Cowboys ahead of him

and finally John Kay and Steppenwolf closed the show.

Everyone had a great time

After Byron had his music critic credentials stripped, the duties were left to Leftus and Festus. Siskel and Roeper beware.

Cory was our safety bear and ensured that not a drop was spilled.

The soccer field up the road provided a relief from the crowds, if you can call 5000 people at a festival crowded.

Gratuitous product placement photo (we are looking for sponsorship money for next year)

But alas all things must end, and we joined Stacey and Karen on the Ferry back to Revelstoke.

Thanks again to Rocky and Rory

Now that we have left, I suspect that Rory will have to spend a few days like this to recover from the onslaught of people in his house.

Cheers
