Thanksgiving

Being culturally diverse is important to me, and even more so when it involves an excuse to eat. Therefore it was with much anticipation that we looked forward to November 25, US Thanksgiving. However on waking up and looking out the window, it looked like we were in Scotland....
But a little snow never hurt anyone, so taking a cue from Tom Petty (and an American Admiral named after the city where we drink in the Scotia Bar) I said "Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead". We loaded up the truck and headed for the USA.
The snow gave Eric a chance to play
And he really loved his snowman.
Meanwhile Mr J was busy cooking not one, but two turkeys.
It was a huge spread, with many cooks contributing. MMMMMM, I am still drooling weeks later just thinking about it.
I did get frowned upon when suggesting I go back for thirds though.
After dinner comes the spoons game, however after the trouncing I gave everyone last year, I got duped. They sent me outside to take the kids tobogganing, and then held the game in my absence.
I'll get their money at Christmas.....
Cheers
