The festive season is but a faint memory, or at least most of it is. I still have a lingering bad taste in my mouth over the judging of the annual Christmas Boxer Shorts Contest. I was clearly the rightful winner, but the rule book was thrown out, or so it appears. I suspect there were French Judges on the panel.
Clearly the spirit of the Christmas Boxer Shorts contest is to show off the less than desirable presents that most men get at Christmas, namely socks and underwear, therefore the garments entered in the contest should be Christmas presents. To wit Rule 35 Sec iii of the Christmas Boxer Shorts Contest states that
If you look closely, you can still see the large sticker on the front of my undergarment.
Additionally Rule 88 sec iv states
My wife refused to let me wear the Christmas shirt except for the contest, and even I, in retrospect, can see that the priestly collar may not be in the best taste at a party where children are present.
Despite all these rules, the landslide victory went to someone wearing old brief's which had been hand modified by the wearer to enhance the Christmas appeal. Clearly this is the start of society's long slide towards depravity and debauchery.

So this year Jerry gets the coveted Santa Boxer Day Trophy

PS This is the real reason that Dec 26 is called Boxing Day in Canada
