Sat Sledding

Brent and I went out for a sled ride on Sat
We headed up to Whistler, which is outside of our normal sledding area. We suspected it would be a different ride, when someone pulled in with a Range Rover Discovey, pulling a sled trailer. We were not in Kansas anymore. This is where the boys with big money come to play.
We had arranged to meet Pat Jason and Derek in the parking lot, and as we waited we watched custom sled after custom sled get unloaded. We headed out on the trail. The other three guys had some pretty hot sleds too, with Jasons making about 240 Hp out of a 1025 CC big bore motor.
This is Pat's, a little lower on power, but still made Brent and me look like slugs.
It was a glorious day, even if we did spend a lot of time pulling starter cords.
Later in the day we ventured up towards the ice cap, and hit some spectacular terrain.

A great day, and the bonus was no avalanches.
I have a few more pics and stories to tell on my next post, but it is now bed time
Cheers
