Nakusp Blues

I just found out that the annual Nakusp Music Festival is not going to happen this year. I am really bummed. I also realized I did not post any pictures from last year. It is one of the most spectacular setting in the world to hold a concert. I will attempt to recreate the spirit of 2011 Nakusp for my friends that were able to attend.
In 2011 the music fest coincided with Rocky's Half Century as well. Everyone wore their best Canucks gear, as Rocky had fully intended on drinking from the cup last summer.
Friday Night we saw The Sheepdogs, good Canadian Boys.
If you close your eyes, they sound just like Burton another good Canadian boy from a similar geography. Must be the prarie water.....
These boys will do well, I am sure.
Honeymoon Suite were up next playing their old hits, and then Earl from Wide Mouth Mason showed up with his new band Mobadass, now called, The Steadies. I have really enjoyed watching WMM over the years, and Earl was a big part of that. He did not disappoint with his new Ska/Reggae band. We will be attending future shows by Earl and The Steadies.
The whole crew was there again, great to see everyone from the Okanagan again.
Of course, for our group Nakusp is not just about the music, there are other activities that go hand in hand with living in the Kootenays.
Rocky's Beach
including the first water ski behind the Supra.
More to come later gang
Cheers
Hoping for a 2013 Fest Bryan
