So during my recent South American travels I may have picked up what my good friend Dave(although I cannot find his original blog post, so hopefully he can help me out) likes to refer to as ED, or explosive diarrhea. My sister, always mindful of my health offered me a tip that her family use when traveling to regions where bacteria different from home ones live. She suggested drinking the juice of three whole lines each day. “It may not taste that good, but the acid will kill all the bugs. Columbia have pretty big limes. Just cutting them into quarters leaves them to big to fit in the bottle.
In order to get 3 limes down I am up to 18 Coronas a day. Such a price to stay healthy.
Cheers

Crisscrossing Mexico over the decades, I've heard the "lime thing" many times and have sometimes practiced it. It's hard to say what works, or doesn't, as the turista is so fickle and random. Stuff tastes good with lime on it. Why not.
After my first few paraniod trips, trying to be so careful and getting the whammy anyway, I just started eating whatever I wanted, and if it comes, it comes. I never drink tap water though, always bottled. Beer is bottled. Approved!
I like that pretty knife in the pic that matches the lime.
Stay hydrated!
